Solón imprimía sus propias tarjetas de fin de año y cada una era única y firmada. Estos grabados de multiples colores dejaban no sólo impresa la tinta sino la textura de la placa sobre el papel. Todas ellas eran impresas en cartulina mojada para que el alto y bajo relieve no desgarre las tarjetas. Solón realizaba estas impresiones en un tórculo o prensa calcográfica utilizando diferentes camas para estampar las monocopias.
Estas copias únicas también las realizó para ocasiones especiales cómo el matrimonio de un amigo, o la caratula del cassette de la música del video La Conquista Interminable.
Solón printed his own end of the year cards and each one was unique and signed. These multi-colored engravings imprinted not only the ink but also the texture of the plate on the paper. All of them were printed on wet card stock so that the high and low embossing does not tear the cards. Solón made these impressions in a calcographic press using different beds to stamp the monocopies.
These unique copies were also made for special occasions such as a friend’s marriage, or the cassette cover of the music from the video The Endless Conquest.
