El Quijote y los perros

La serie “El Quijote y los perros” fue expuesta por primera vez el año 1974 durante la dictadura militar de Banzer. Aquí encontramos a un Quijote que se rebela contra la injusticia y la represión representada por los perros. Es un Quijote tenaz que a veces es abatido pero que siempre se levanta para continuar su incansable pelea por la justicia y la libertad.

Muy pocos vinieron a la inauguración de la muestra de esta serie de Quijotes, sin embargo tuvo un gran impacto porque Solón la reprodujo en un álbum de diez láminas.

The series “Don Quixote and the dogs” was exhibited for the first time in the year 1974 during the military dictatorship of Banzer. Here we find a Don Quixote who rebels against the injustice and repression represented by the dogs. He is a tenacious Don Quixote who is sometimes downcast but always stands to continue his tireless struggle for freedom and justice.

Very few came to the inauguration of the exhibition of this series of Quixotes, however it had a great impact because Solón reproduced it in an album of ten sheets.
